Your trip Itinerary
Day 1 – Friday
Depart USA
Today you will depart the United States for Lisbon. Complimentary meals and beverages will be served onboard your international flight.
Day 2 – Saturday
Lisbon – Fátima
Arrival in Lisbon, where you will meet your guide and transfer to the city center to begin a guided visit of Lisbon. We will see Praça do Rossio, Praça dos Restauradores, the Cathedral of Lisbon, the Church of St. Anthony, and the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição Velha.
We will then continue with a walk along Avenida da Liberdade. After some time for lunch, we will visit the historic Alfama quarter.
In the afternoon we transfer to Fátima.
Dinner at the hotel, followed by the Rosary and the Torchlight Procession at the Shrine.
Overnight in Fátima.
Day 3 – Sunday
Fátima
Morning visit of the Sanctuary of Fátima. Later we transfer to Valinhos and pray the Via Crucis along the path where the shepherd children once walked. We will celebrate a Penitential Liturgy and Holy Mass.
Visit the houses of the three shepherd children in Aljustrel and the site of the Angel’s apparition at Loca do Cabeço.
Return to Fátima and visit the Museum of the Shrine, which houses thousands of objects connected with the apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Among them is the crown of the statue of Our Lady, which contains the bullet that struck St. John Paul II during the assassination attempt of May 13, 1981 in St. Peter’s Square.
Dinner at the hotel followed by the Rosary and Torchlight Procession.
Overnight in Fátima.
Day 4
Fátima – Tui
Free morning in Fátima for personal prayer and reflection.
After lunch we depart for Tui, Spain.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
The Camino – Portuguese Way
Early breakfast at the hotel. Today we begin our Camino de Santiagopilgrimage.
Our first stage will take us from Valença do Minho, crossing the border into Spain through Tui, and continuing to O Porriño.
Distance: 21 km / 13 miles
Arrival in O Porriño, dinner and overnight.
Day 6
The Camino
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we walk the second stage of the Camino from O Porriño to Redondela.
Distance: 16.4 km / 10.2 miles
Along the way we will meet many fellow pilgrims with whom we can share conversation, experiences, and the spirit of the Camino.
Arrival at our accommodation.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 7
The Camino
Breakfast at the hotel.
The third stage of our pilgrimage brings us from Redondela to Pontevedra.
Distance: 18.2 km / 11.3 miles
Pontevedra is a historic city located at the end of the ria that bears its name, where the valleys of the Lérez and Tomeza rivers meet. The city extends southward toward Ponte Sampaio, surrounded by mountainous landscapes.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 8
The Camino
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we walk the fourth stage of the Camino from Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis.
Distance: 23 km / 14 miles
Arrival in Caldas de Reis in the afternoon.

Day 9
The Camin
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our fifth stage takes us from Caldas de Reis to Padrón.
Distance: 18.5 km / 10 miles
Padrón is an important town in the tradition of the Camino. According to tradition, the boat carrying the body of St. James the Apostle first arrived here before his remains were taken to Santiago.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 10
The Camino
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we walk the sixth and final stage of our Camino pilgrimage, from Padrón to Santiago de Compostela.
Distance: 25.2 km / 15 miles
Arrival in Santiago de Compostela, the final destination of pilgrims for more than a thousand years.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 11
Santiago de Compostela
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning guided visit of the city of Santiago de Compostela, including the magnificent squares of Plaza del Obradoiro, Plaza de la Quintana, and Plaza de la Inmaculada.
Visit the Cathedral of Santiago and celebrate the Pilgrim’s Mass, during which we hope to witness the famous Botafumeiro.
After lunch we will take an excursion to Muxía, visiting the sanctuary of Virgen de la Barca, and continue to Finisterre, once believed to be the end of the known world.
Return to Santiago.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 12
Santiago – USA
Transfer by bus to Santiago Airport for your return flight to the United States.
